Samson Records was founded by Norm Waitt, Jr. in 1998. Norm's goal was to create a music company that fostered creativity and provided a stimulating and fun environment for its employees. He recognized that the record industry is dominated by large companies that, by their nature, have difficulty nurturing creativity and innovation. Norm believes that there are opportunities for a forward-thinking, independent record company to develop talent and produce meaningful and progressive new music.

Samson Records is a small group of musicians, songwriters and music industry professionals whose goal is to build a company that we can be proud of, and that you can have confidence in. Our focus has always been, and will always be, the music. Music that will stand the test of time.
