"CPR" ANNOUNCES ‘99 SPRING CONCERT SCHEDULE

David Crosby-led Trio to Perform in Wichita

OMAHA, NEBRASKA - CPR, the musical trio led by two-time Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame inductee David Crosby (Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Byrds), has announced the dates for a 1999 tour in support of their self-titled debut album released on the Samson Records label. The group will appear at Century II Concert Hall in Wichita, Kansas, for a very special performance on Thursday, March 25, 1999, at 8:00 p.m.

In addition to Crosby, CPR also includes guitarist Jeff Pevar (who has toured/performed with Crosby & Nash, Ray Charles, James Taylor, Rickie Lee Jones, Carly Simon, Shawn Colvin, B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Michael Bolton, Kenny Loggins and many others) and keyboardist James Raymond (who also happens to be Crosby's biological son).

"The heatwarming reunion between David and James, made when Crosby was ill with potentially fatal liver failure, helped ignite Crosby’s recovery," said Norm Waitt, Jr., Gold Circle’s Chair and CEO. "Months later, they began writing songs together and gave birth to a new musical experience that proved to be revitalizing: CPR."

"David Crosby & CPR: Through the Music" is the title of an upcoming concert special that will appear on public broadcasting station KPTS TV in advance of the concert date. Airing on Saturday, March 13, at 9:00 p.m., the program, which was produced and directed by

Dana Altman (grandson of noted film director, Robert Altman, and co-producer of Omaha: The Movie), will feature CPR’s performance at Miles Davis Hall during the group’s appearance at the 1998 Montreaux Jazz Festival.
