DAVID CROSBY INKS RECORD DEAL FOR "CPR"

Samson Music to Release Group's Debut Album

OMAHA, NEBRASKA - Two-time Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame inductee David Crosby (Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Byrds) has signed an exclusive recording deal with Omaha, Nebraska-based Samson Music for his new recording project, CPR (Crosby, Pevar & Raymond), it was announced by Michael Delich, who serves as President of Samson Music and its parent company, Gold Circle Entertainment, Inc.

"We have a profound respect for the talents of David Crosby and CPR, and we're thrilled they chose to join the Samson Music family," says Delich. "CPR's music and audience is a perfect fit for the sales and marketing apparatus we have in place at Samson."

"We went looking for honesty, excitement and expertise," says Crosby. "We found all three and more at Samson. With a company this good and a little luck, we might just do it again."

The first release under the deal which concluded in April is the self-titled debut album of CPR, a new trio that consists of Crosby, guitarist Jeff Pevar (who has toured/performed with Crosby, Stills & Nash, Ray Charles, James Taylor, B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne and many others) and keyboardist James Raymond (an accomplished songwriter, singer and keyboardist who also happens to be Crosby's biological son and whom Crosby met for the first time while recovering from his liver transplant four years ago). The album, which includes all original songs by members of the group, is scheduled to hit the streets on June 23, 1998, followed by a U.S. tour by CPR.
